Santa Fe: T-Shirt from Memo Illustration

Flashback Summer: Santa Fe - T-Shirt from Memo Illustration

So you might have seen in my last post the amazing t-shirt I was wearing, and I wanted to share a bit more about it because it was one of exactly two garments I had been saving specifically for my Santa Fe trip.  (The other one is coming up soon!)

For traveling, vintage can be a little tricky simply because most of it is made of natural fibers that wrinkle.  Knits are a great way to get vintage style with less ironing, and t-shirts are even better!  I have been slowly building my collection of fashionable t-shirts, and when I saw this Spring Sweetheart tee from Memo Illustration, I fell in love.  Helen was nice enough to send it to me, and it was packaged SO BEAUTIFULLY.  JUST LOOK AT IT:

Also, in case you hadn't noticed, it's customized with a little "E" in the corner to go with my name.  The cool part about these shirts is that Helen prints them by hand herself!  This is why she can customize it to fit each customer.  She makes each shirt design as a limited edition (this design has only 50 shirts), so you get something special when you buy one.

Mine is a size small.  I match the bust measurement for a small on her site, and you can see that the fit is spot on.  It's snug without being too tight, and it's also long enough to wear with lower-waisted bottoms if you so desire.  The shirt is made of a really soft, thin knit that's really comfy.

Memo Illustration is full of all kinds of vintage-inspired, hand-printed home goods, clothing, paper goods, etc.  If you haven't looked at her shop, go now!!  I also follow the shop Instagram for daily brightly-colored pretties that I drool over all the time.

Have you bought anything from Memo Illustration?  What's your favorite thing in the shop now?
