Quick Update...

I wanted to update you guys real quick so you don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth due to blog silence.  I'm in the throes of wardrobe-transitioning and life logistics, and I'm going to hold off on posting for a bit until I can get more of a handle on things.

Currently, this is the floor in my closet/sewing room:

It's frightening.  So, while I work on posting clothing items and selling and trying to stay organized and keep up with life, I may not post for a week or two.  Hopefully after that I'll be good to go, however, and I'll get back on a consistent posting schedule!

Thank you all for your patience and support!

P.S. If you're around my size and would like to see the items I'm cleaning out (or are looking for a certain type of item), just email or message me on Facebook and I'll be glad to show you what I've got!

  1. Oh girl I have been there! Once I open my closet and unleash the chaos it takes at least a week to get it all back together again! It sure feels great to find a new home for all of thr neglected pieces though...plus making room for new things is always a bonus!

  2. You go, girl!!! That is a project every last one of us with more than a pocket sized wardrobe (and sometimes even then!) can befinit from doing periodically. I did a massive wardrobe clean out + updating when we moved across the country three years ago and have been very, very selective in what I've added since, but suspect I'll do a small one again at some point this year. I have very little storage space and wouldn't mind freeing up at least an inch or two of it for future purchases.

  3. Sometimes a purge is good thing. I went through the great purge of '14 last fall when we moved. It was so hard to get rid of so many things. I'm not gonna lie, there were many tears. But here in the new place, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. I thought it would be harder to put new outfits together having fewer pieces, but it is actually easier because now I can see it all. I have only clothes that I love now, which means that what ever I decided to put on that day, I love too. Good luck gal, we look forward to your return.

  5. Oh goodness, I've been here, yet still feel overwhelmed at times, though I will admit I am still happier since deciding to ditch period perfect looks all the time. Continuing to wish you the best of luck!

  6. Some days a good CLEANING DAY is more than needed. It cleanses the heart, brings back the smile.. so, I fully support you.
Now, I would take on any and all your garments, but I live quite far away.
