Today was such a " 'Merica" day, as my friend Emily would say. My dorm floor went to a local orchard to eat their delicious desserts that they make with their fruits. It was a lot of fun, and we also took some photos to commemorate the fall festivities! It was a crisp but lovely day out today, just perfect for a day at the orchard! The ladies on my floor are SO GREAT, and it was wonderful to spend some more time with them.
Then, this evening I voted for the first time! For the occasion I wore red, white, and blue today (and black...). It's a huge privilege to have a say in my country's government, and it was amazing to exercise that privilege today! I also took some pics to memorialize my first ballot cast.
