The past weekend Jacob, Dietrich and I stopped by Cider Days, the annual fall festival here in Springfield.  It's always a good time!  There are performers, vendors, artists, and anybody who's anybody at the two-day festival.  We decided to bring our dog, Dietrich, to see how he'd do on the outing with so many other people and dogs, and he did well!  That means he'll get to go on other adventures with us!

(Also, random fact: this is the first vintage dress I ever bought!)

  5. We have lots of similar events here in New England. Fall is my favorite time of year! And it looks like it will be a good foliage year too, last year was very blah. We've had one good frost so everything is starting to turn, so pretty.

  6. Your hair is absolutely adorable! Thanks for the list of fall festivals. I was really bummed that I was out of town for the Seymour Apple Festival (since it's out closer to where I live). Apparently there is some kind of festival for the Glade Top Trail in late October. I'm near to the area so I'm still learning!

  7. Oh, it looks like you had a blast! I haven't really gotten to go to any autumn festival-type things, but I hope I get to do something of the sort before the weather turns properly cold. Also, your dress is just divine. What a wonderful piece to start your vintage collection with!

    1. Yes, I don't know what the weather is like in your area, but I'd recommend a fall festival when it actually feels like fall! It was quite hot here and didn't have the same effect.
