I AM Alive!

I wanted to drop a note to tell you guys that I am indeed still alive, I'm just unable to post at the moment. I've been traveling for work the past week, and it was CRAZINESS.  Things snuck up on me faster than I anticipated, and I didn't have much time for blog planning-ahead.

Then, now that I'm back, I'm looking at getting caught up on things and this is a small glimpse of how I feel:

So, in order to preserve my sanity and get things back in order, I may have a bit more of a pause in my posting.  Don't worry, nothing is wrong, I'm just waiting until I have time to post some good content for you guys instead of shoddy "meh" posts.  I do have some sewing projects I've been working on that I can't wait to share, so stay tuned!

  1. By all means, take a breather. Summer is draining unto itself, but add in oodles of work and travel and it's dangerously easy to get run down/burned out. Far better to have the foresight to take a wee break before that runs the risk of happening.

    Sending serene wishes your way,

  2. You've been missed but breaks are understandable and needed!

  3. Of course you should do what you must to stay alive, and hopefully things will start settling down again soon! Drink tea when you have the chance. ;) That's my number one "Just breathe" tip. ❤

  4. I'm burying this a few posts back. I had tried to email you, and the email bounced for whatever reason. So here is my email:

    Dear Emileigh,

I'm sorry that my comments on your post regarding WW2 celebration attire were impeding civil discourse. I should have thought before just posting a response. I've wondered how it would be received, and checked in on it frequently, and was not surprised to see them removed.

I'm sorry. I will strive to be a more civil member of the blogging community, especially when on someone else's blog.

    1. I greatly appreciate this gracious response (and I don't know why my email isn't working…), and I hope you feel free to continue to contribute comments here on the blog! No worries, it's totally all good. It means a lot that you have contacted me about it. :)
